Test Automation Specialist

About the Role 

We are looking for a Playwright Automation Engineer to join our QA team and help build scalable automation for our websites and SaaS applications. 

What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for developing automated test frameworks, improving test coverage, and ensuring high-quality releases across multiple platforms. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright 

• Automate end-to-end test cases for websites and SaaS applications 

• Perform cross-browser testing (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit) 

• Build and execute regression and smoke test suites 

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) 

• Perform API testing and validations 

• Identify, document, and track defects 

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure quality 

Required Qualifications 

• 3–6 years of experience in QA Automation / SDET 

• Strong experience with Playwright (JavaScript or TypeScript) 

• Good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) 

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) 

• Experience in API testing (REST, JSON) 

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills 

• Experience working in Agile environments 

Good to Have 

• Experience with Docker 

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) 

• Experience with test reporting tools (Allure, etc.) 

• Prior experience testing SaaS platforms  

What You’ll Work On 

• Automation for 5+ websites and 3 SaaS applications 

• Building scalable regression and automation frameworks 

• Improving release quality and reducing manual testing effort
